Networking is only complicated if you don't take the time to understand what you're looking at. Simple design is always better than complexity for the sake of complexity.

SYSTEM / OVERVIEW nominal in-progress
THE PATTERN
- Find what nobody wrote down. An 802.1X stack with no docs and a departed engineer. Restored it from the wire up and wrote the first architecture doc for the site.
- Remove the shared secret. Replaced one local admin password on every switch with RADIUS/NPS roles, then pushed it consistently with Ansible.
- Automate the legwork. Built a license-aware Graph API tool that flags CIS gaps across a tenant set in the time one portal takes.
- Leave it repeatable. A fully virtual three-node Proxmox cluster whose configs version to git, so every guide here reproduces from a baseline.
